TUITION & FEES
Choosing a Christian education for your child provides a strong academic foundation rooted in faith, values, and character development.
With the EdChoice Scholarship, Christian education becomes more affordable for families, ensuring that financial barriers don’t stand in the way of a Christ-centered learning experience. EdChoice empowers parents to select the best educational environment for their children, helping them thrive academically and spiritually.
*Families below the 200% poverty level are not responsible for any tuition above the scholarship amount.
TCA has partnered with OCEN to make your donation. Donations can be made through Ohio Christian Education Network Scholarship Granting Organization (OCEN SGO) and may be claimed as a tax credit when you file your Ohio taxes for the year in which you make your gift.
The credit is a dollar-for-dollar reduction in your state tax liability up to $750 per taxpayer/$1500 per married couple. If your taxable income is $44,250/year, you can designate $750 of your taxable liability to The Christian Academy. *
When you designate your gift for TCA you are providing scholarships for students to attend or stay at The Christian Academy.
*Contact your tax professional with questions specific to your situation.
The State of Ohio’s Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) tax credit (Section 5747.73 of the Ohio Revised Code) authorizes donors who contribute to K-12 student scholarships through a certified SGO to receive dollar-for-dollar reduction in their state taxes up to $750 per individual taxpayer; $1500 per married couple. Gifts to The Christian Academy through our OCEN SGO will go directly towards academic scholarships. To donate towards scholarships, please visit our SGO page.
Is the SGO Scholarship the same as an EdChoice Scholarship?
While both are part of Ohio’s School Choice initiative, the two scholarships are funded separately. SGO Scholarships are fully funded by private, charitable donations. Some students may be able to receive both EdChoice Scholarship and SGO Scholarship in the same year. Awards are prioritized for students with demonstrated financial need.
